Collier County Council on Aging
The Collier County Council on Aging is a non-denominational, not-for-profit organization dedicated to concerns of the elderly. Founded in 1974, its purpose is to assist, encourage and promote the social, spiritual, emotional, physical and economic well being of older persons.
Members and the Board of Directors are volunteers comprised of a combination of interested individuals and representatives of local service agencies. Nominal dues to cover mailing costs are payable each September.
Programs appropriate to the purpose of the organization are held on the third Tuesday of each month, September through May, in the Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church, 388 1st Avenue South, Naples at 1:30 p.m.
Every two years the Council on Aging prepares and distributes a Directory of Services. This useful and comprehensive guide provides information for seniors and their families as well as agency professionals. The Directory is provided free of charge and is the Council's gift to the community.
The Directory of Services is now available online. You will need Acrobat Reader to view and print the directory. If you don't already have the Reader, you can download it for free here.
